Client Engagement Terms

GetMyMoney.com & GetMyProperty.com · Last updated June 7, 2026

These Client Engagement Terms ("Terms") govern your use of the intake process at getmymoney.com and getmyproperty.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by GigaDebt Systems, LLC ("GetMyMoney"), a technology platform — not a law firm. Legal services requested through the Site are provided by independent law firms; in Michigan, Hanna & Jarbo PLLC (the "Firm"). By submitting an intake on the Site, you agree to these Terms.

The most important point. Submitting an intake, uploading documents, answering questions, or paying a quote does not create an attorney-client relationship. The Firm represents you only after it reviews your matter and accepts it.

1 · No attorney-client relationship until acceptance

The Site lets you request legal help and provide information so the Firm can decide whether to take your matter. Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship exists until the Firm confirms acceptance of your matter.

2 · Information you submit

We treat the information and documents you submit as confidential and use them only to evaluate and, if accepted, handle your matter. However, until the Firm accepts your matter, the protections of an attorney-client relationship do not fully apply.

3 · Your authority and accuracy

4 · Scope of services

If the Firm accepts your matter, the specific services, practice area (eviction or collection), and steps will be confirmed at acceptance and, where applicable, in a signed retainer agreement presented during intake. Services not described there are outside the engagement unless agreed separately.

5 · Fees and payment

6 · Electronic communications and updates

You consent to receive communications about your matter electronically, including by email and (if you opt in) text message, and to electronic signatures and records under applicable law (ESIGN/UETA). You can withdraw consent to texts by replying STOP or updating your preferences in your client portal; some service communications may still be sent by email.

7 · No guarantee of outcome

Legal matters are uncertain. Nothing on the Site or in our communications is a promise or guarantee about the result, timeline, or amount recovered in any matter.

8 · Client responsibilities

9 · Termination

You may stop the intake at any time before acceptance. After acceptance, either you or the Firm may end the representation as allowed by the Michigan Rules of Professional Conduct and any retainer agreement. Fees for work already performed remain due as agreed.

10 · Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site — including submitting matters you are not authorized to pursue, uploading malicious files, or attempting to access other users' information. The Site is provided "as is"; the Firm's responsibility for the Site itself (before any representation begins) is limited to the amount you paid, if any, for the related service.

11 · Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Matters handled by the Firm concern Michigan eviction and collection law.

12 · Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you submit an intake applies to that submission.
